Ewan works on Depaul’s programme in Ukraine. He’s worked for Depaul three times by the age of 25, which is probably some kind of record. He was a student intern at the start of the Institute of Global Homelessness and then joined the team full-time straight after graduating. He re-joined in March 2022 at the outset of war in Ukraine.
In between, he worked as Monitoring & Evaluation lead for a global education charity, and in business development at St Mungo’s. Ewan started in the homelessness sector as a volunteer outreach worker and he still does occasional shifts with Thames Reach in London.
He grew up in the city, leaving briefly to study at Cambridge University, where he got a Double First in History. Outside of work, he is Chair of Trustees of the Catholic youth charity Million Minutes and plays jazz with a band in Brixton.
