Mark joined Depaul International as Director of Operations in 2022, on secondment from Depaul UK where he has worked for over four years. In August 2023, Mark became Director of International Programmes at Depaul International.
As Head of Prevention and Programmes at Depaul UK, Mark oversaw the development and implementation of a new education programme for schools and the expansion of family support and mediation services, Reconnect. He also led on Client Involvement and the organisation’s Education, Training and Employment services.
Prior to Depaul, Mark spent a number of years working with young people in communities affected by armed conflict in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and he started his career managing a network of local learning centres in South London, with the social mobility charity, IntoUniversity. Mark has a BA in International Development and Portuguese and a MSc in International Childhood Studies.
