Our Governance

Depaul International's voluntary Board of Trustees is made up of a maximum of 12 people with a range of skills and expertise in the commercial and voluntary sectors, and drawn from around the world.  Our Board of Trustees is committed to ensuring that Depaul is fully compliant with all relevant regulations and adopts best practice in managing services for the disadvantaged.  It holds quarterly Board meetings, an Annual Assembly, and a bi-annual strategic review.  It is supported day-to-day by the Senior Management Group drawn from around the world comprising the Senior Management Team of Depaul International and the CEOs/Directors from  each of the countries in which we work.

Depaul International believes in transparency and accountability.  Read our transparency policies here

Depaul International intends to end homelessness at a global level. Depaul International aims to provide an effective response to homelessness, to influence global policies to tackle homelessness and to expand its work to other regions. In order to accomplish this, Depaul International developed four key goals for the three year period 2015-2017, and these goals continue in the 2018-2020 Strategic Framework for the Depaul Group.

Depaul's financial statements are prepared in compliance with SORP, which is the recommended standard for charities.  Our annual accounts disclose salary bands for the management team. We pay our staff a fair salary, which is in line with salaries for staff of other similar sized charitable organisations. For more information download our 2017 Annual Accounts statement by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page (you can also download the Annual Accounts for  2016 and 2015).

Check out our Annual Review for 2016 by clicking on the link at the bottom of this pageOur 2017 annual review will be available shortly.  Over the past 28 years the Depaul Group of charities has worked with over 126,000 homeless and vulnerable people around the world.

Depaul International couldn't achieve all this without the dedicated staff teams providing frontline support, and the trustee bodies which lead governance in all the countries in which Depaul works.  We acknowledge the tremendous part played by our volunteers who bring great skills to the organisation.  We offer our thanks for the donations we receive from individuals, trusts, foundations, companies, and a variety of Government bodies.
