J’Leise joined Depaul International in June 2023 as the Team Administrator. Working alongside the Executive Assistant, the role involves day-to-day support to the team with all daily admin tasks.
Prior to joining the DPI team, J’Leise actively volunteered within her university, community and by extension her country Trinidad and Tobago. Her work is driven by her passion for climate change, education and development. As a passionate individual with a strong desire to make a positive impact in the world, she has always been committed to empowering young people. It was this passion that drove her toward embarking on an initiative entitled Educators For Development, an organisation that aims to create a diversified movement of youths by educating them on issues affecting them – providing young people with the knowledge and skills needed to address the challenges they face in today’s society. J’Leise currently holds a BSc Degree in International Relations with Chinese Language, History and Culture from the University of the West Indies, and has recently completed her MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Outside of work, J’Leise enjoys spending her time going to the beach, exploring different cities, reading novels and photography.
