Chief Finance Officer

We’re looking for a Chief Finance Officer to join the Depaul International team.

As the Depaul Group continues to experience growth and increases its impact, you’ll lead the effective financial and governance support provided by DPI to its subsidiaries. You’ll be the leading interface between the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees and other corporate bodies and subsidiaries. You’ll provide financial advice to the Group CEO, Board and other senior management colleagues, including modelling best practice in financial management, overseeing the financial management in the subsidiaries, setting financial standards for the group and providing support to enable the subsidiaries to meet those standards. You’ll also be leading and supporting the development of a new governance structure for the Group.

Evaluation consultant

We’re looking for an Evaluation Consultant to evaluate Depaul’s  DEC-funded humanitarian response in Ukraine. The evaluation will primarily cover the activities delivered in the final phase of the response; a c. £5,145,00 relief and recovery programme delivered from September 2023-August 2025.
The purpose of the evaluation is to reflect on Depaul and CAFOD’s DEC-funded response to the Ukraine Crisis, learn lessons and ensure accountability to clients and communities, partners and donors. The evaluation will assess implementation and results vis-à-vis OECD/DAC criteria and the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS). Findings from the final evaluation will inform ongoing Depaul-CAFOD programming, Depaul’s wider Ukraine response and both Depaul and CAFOD’s future programming.

The external evaluation consultant(s) should have proven experience of leading evaluations in a humanitarian relief and response context.  Ideally, the consultant will be familiar with the Ukrainian Crisis context and have experience evaluating DEC-funded projects. Experience assessing the effectiveness of localisation strategies and diverse partnership approaches is also essential. Knowledge of Ukrainian and/or familiarity with faith-based organisations operating in crisis contexts is desirable.
