John previously served as Depaul International’s Chair of Trustees from 2009 until 2023. He remains on the Board as a Trustee.
John spent his working life with Shell International, and post-retirement he has held various trustee roles and volunteer positions in several voluntary sector organisations in the UK in the areas of criminal rehabilitation, homelessness, and international aid. He brings strong business management skills, with a good understanding of governance roles, together with a keen interest in mentoring.
