Lambeth Palace Garden Party

On Friday 6 September Lambeth Palace, the official residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury, will open its gardens for the public to enjoy. Proceeds from the event will go to Depaul UK and Depaul International to help homeless and displaced people in the UK and around the world.

The open garden event offers a rare opportunity to visit the gardens, which are closed for much of the year. Over the summer they are opened once a month between April and September to raise money for various charities.

On Friday 6th September the Palace Gardens, Crypt Chapel and Great Hall will be open for the public to enjoy. There will also be free guided tours of the garden on offer throughout the afternoon.

Our Senior Partnerships Manager Jason Eades said: "We're very grateful to Lambeth Palace for offering us this opportunity to invite our supporters to join us in such a beautiful setting. We'll be throwing our own English country fete, serving light refreshments and offering the opportunity to take part in some traditional fun."

Attendees will also have the opportunity to find out more about the important work that Depaul does around the world.

Admission is £5 for adults, children free. Dogs are welcome and you will be able to buy refreshments, provided by Depaul. Gates open 12.00 noon - 3.00 pm.
